Welcome

Do the Things, not the Stuff!

MAED Final Project

This is a project that combines a year and a half of work into one portfolio. The goal is to demonstrate that I have met or exceeded the standards set by the state of Virginia, the National Science Teacher's Association, and the Interstate New Teacher Assessment and Support Consortium using evidence and artifacts from my teaching experiences in the secondary school setting.

I want to thank the faculty at Virginia Tech for supporting me in my goals and being flexible with me when I went and got a job prior to graduating.

I want to thank Jennifer Maguire for being a fantastic university supervisor who supported me through my struggle to be a good student and a good teacher at the same time.

I want to thank Ryan Baxter and Mary Flynn for taking me under their collective wing, forgiving me for my inexperience, setting me up for success, and being the best mentoring team a baby teacher could ever want.
